If you want to play without commanding battles use option 1) and if you want to play battles personally use option 2) the only trick is you have to start the game with options in 1 save the game and then use options in 2). it still makes multi tasking easier than playing it in full screen makes alt tabbing harder because i have to press escape to pop op the game menu so i can alt tab but this is the best i could do.

This morning, after a reboot with windows updates, the situation is slightly different: the steam menu keep saying that I have video drivers not updated, the game is still working without DxWnd, but if I run DxWnd something strange happens: if I run the game from Steam, it crashes, if I run it from the DxWnd menu or simply double clicking Medieval_TW.exe it works.ġ) i have DXWnd version 2.03.84.fx1 and i am on windows 7 64.

After the Steam download, I tried to run the game on Win10 and it WORKED PERFECTLY! So, now, what should I repair?Īctually, it works pretty much ok also with DxWnd in windowized mode (but with so many troops on the screen one may wonder why it should be useful to reduce the game size!) apart from a mouse disalignement that works as if the window was on top-left corner. What a misfortune! I knew I was doing something useless.
